Dr Madeleine Kerr

Dr Madeleine Kerr is an experienced consultant psychiatrist who has been working in the local area since 2020 and first worked as a consultant in 2013. She is highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depression, bipolar mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, OCD and psychosis.

She trained in psychiatry in several major London teaching hospitals, including the highly regarded East London Foundation Trust and also worked at the National Affective disorders unit at the Maudsley where she gained experience in the management of treatment resistant depression.

Madeleine has a reputation for a kind and caring but thorough approach and is a compassionate but a highly experienced and effective clinician. She believes in a holistic approach to mental health treatment and strongly believes in a combined approach of social, psychological and medical interventions, where necessary.

She gained membership to the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2006 and also has postgraduate diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology and mental health law. Madeline has worked overseas at the prestigious Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, and also in Kwazulu- Natal.

Madeleine was one of the first consultants to join Flint Healthcare and is now working regularly at the clinic and available for consultations and treatment planning.
